A senior college student grounded solidly in the basis of computer science at Huazhong University of Science and Technology(HUST) in Wuhan, China, I love Computer Science, Algorithms, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Logic, Physics, and Critical Thinking.
My participation in various academic activities in high school and college stimulated my interests in algorithms and mathematics. I won the first prize in National Olympiad in Informatics in Province(NOIP) in high school, which qualified me to be admitted by HUST exempted from the National Higher University Entrance Examination. And I won a Bronze Medal in ACM-International Collegiate Programming Contest (ACM-ICPC) and a Honorable Mention in Mathematical Contest in Modeling(MCM). And I am the leader of my team in both of the contests.
Linux was my major operating system, until I switched to Mac OS X recently. I am impressed by its Philosophy of Freedom. My notes about Linux can be found on my blog.
Emacs is my favourable text editor, and I write Emacs Lisp. And I also organized my experience about Emacs on my blog.
While C/C++ is my "mother tongue", Python is now my daily language. I have initiated several projects in Python:
I use LaTeX to typeset my papers and documents. My CV is typeset by LaTeX with the help of moderncv. You can check out my articles (in Chinese) on how to configure LaTeX and introductions to several widely used LaTeX macro packages on my blog.
